Beginning ballet students look forward to the day when they will advance to ballet pointe shoes. Ballet pointe shoes have an odd shape, but they allow ballet dancers to dance on the very tips of their toes. More advanced ballet dancing requires ballet pointe shoes.

Ballet is an art and it is different from other dance forms. You may take ballet lessons or you probably have seen ballet on television or in the movies. Whatever your association with ballet, it is a graceful and beautiful kind of dancing .The letter “t” on the word “ballet” is silent, so we pronounce it as “ballay.”

Ballet is a specific dance form and technique. Works of dance choreographed using this technique are called ballets, and may include dance, music, acting and mime.

Right from the beginning, ballet and music have been uniquely intertwined. Without music ballet is nothing more than the empty motions of a ritual. Without the movement and rhythm of dance, music looses all vitality. And so, ballet as a doorway to human expression hinges on both music and dance.

Dancers are constantly working out, taking class, performing somewhere, so naturally they are thinner than most people. But not the very young students who are in the age group between 7-14. Yes, there are many in that group who are chubby, overweight and just plain FAT.

There has been an endless quest searching for the best solution to lose the fats and get rid of calories. It has also brought countless frustrations to many because they want to see the aftermath of their efforts in just a blink of an eye or snap of a finger. They forgot to realize that it has to be a process and that change does not happen overnight. This has also caused medical surgeries to flourish but, there is none much better than doing it the natural way.
